The story surrounds around four childhood friends. Ko Dong Man and Choi Ae Ra, after being seriously unhappy in their life motivates each other to chase their dreams and eventually falls for the other. Beak Sul Hee and Kim Joo Man, although having dated for 6 years, is yet to tie the knot, and insecurities and problems arise when they face hurdles in their relationship.

‘Fight for my way’ is one of my top five all-time favorites, Top 1 being obviously ‘Healer’ (see my review here). Park Seo Joon plays an adorable character who is absolutely clueless about the fact that his best friend has been in love with him and Kim Ji Won is such a badass in this drama that I loved them.

The chemistry between him and Choi Ae Ra is absolutely amazing and makes us feel single as fuck. They had a bickering chemistry and trust me, you will laugh and then fall for them. We get to see them slowly developing from being friends to lovers who support ach others decisions and at the same time being best friends who tease and annoy each other.

We see them fighting their insecurities about themselves with the help of their friends and courageously believing in themselves and chasing their dreams. I was teary eyed, my fellow addicts, chasing dreams makes me mopey. I have a thing for friends-to-lovers trope and chasing dreams (if you haven’t figured this out by now).

The Bromance between Ko Dong Man and his coach is hilarious and the fight scenes of Ko Dong Man just adds to the fun. The epilogue at the end of each episode is so adorable and just increases the cuteness of the drama.

The second lead couple Beak Sul Hee and Kim Joo Man are adorable and has a totally different chemistry compared to the leads. They represents a sweet love story that is found in a long relationship. We see Kim Joo Man slowly getting into a slum where he no longer seems to feel the spark that he felt at the beginning and slowly insecurities starts to creep in.

We get conflicts, jealousy, arguments towards the end but we see both these beautiful couples overcoming it and undergoes a character development and the ‘Fight for My Way’ wraps up with a neat and beautiful ending that makes us a bit misty eyes to watch this drama end.

Favorite scene: All the cute scenes in the drama.
